Volunteer
We are always seeking volunteers who love working with children. There are many ways to volunteer!
All applicants interesting in volunteering must:
- enjoy children
- be at least 13 years old
- follow center policies
Classroom experiences include:
- helping teachers
- assisting with mealtimes and snacks
- implementing cultural activities
- field trip chaperone
- reading books to children
- preparation of classroom environment
- play and interact with children
Maintence of the center includes:
- maintance of the center
- weed eating
- painting
- installing new equipment
Administrative office includes:
- photocopying
- changing out bulletin boards
- computer assignments
- fold, address and distribute quarterly newsletter
- fundraising
- writing thank you notes and correspondance
We are always interested in giving our children new experiences. Therefore, if you have any special talents, please let us know.
We are in need of a volunteer to instruct music and teach Bible stories. Also greatly needed is a volunteer to translate the monthly and quarterly newsletters into Spanish.
